Q. What do I need to provide at my party?
A. As a host, you will need to provide the tables and chairs, and enough room for each crafter attending. Any place could be used for painting, such as a kitchen, family room, dining room, basement, garage, patio, driveway, or any other place you can think of. In addition, you will need to provide your own beverages and food, if you desire.
Q. How early do you arrive to set up?
A. Typically we arrive 30-45 minutes early to set up the work areas. This may need to be adjusted for various crafts.
Q. When do I have my guests arrive?
A. Please have your guests arrive at the scheduled time of your party. We will begin instruction approximately 15 minutes after your scheduled start time.
Q. What do we wear?
A. What ever you feel most comfortable in! It is possible that you may get paint or other craft mediums on your clothing, so please keep that in mind.
Q. I'm not good at crafts. Can I still do this?
A. YOU CAN! Our staff will take you step by step through each project to make sure your creation is just as you imagined it would be! We welcome crafters of all skill levels!
Q. Do you have a physical location/studio?
A. No. We are a mobile craft studio, bringing the fun directly to your location. By avoiding the overhead costs associated with a physical location or studio, we can bring our unique experience to everyone, at a much more affordable cost, and a convenient time and place of your choosing.
Q. How far do you travel?
A. Typically we travel in a 60 mile radius of Kansas City.
Q. Why do I need a deposit?
A. A deposit is necessary to book your party, and secure your spot and time.
Q. What is the minimum age requirement?
A. We primarily focus on adult parties and ask that the minimum age be 17.
Q. Can I bring my child?
A. We consider our parties to be "adult" time and respectfully ask that you make other arrangements for your child during the party.
Q. Do you have an inclement weather policy?
A. We can't fight Mother Nature! We will consider the safety of all involved for parties needing to be rescheduled or delayed due to inclement weather. We will try to keep the party as scheduled, but we understand that weather happens!. A rescheduled time and date will be arranged in this instance without penalty of deposit forfeiture. However, a party must be rescheduled within 30 days to not lose the deposit.
Q. What is the cancellation policy?
A. We require a 10 day written notice of cancellation for any parties booked. Parties canceled after the 10 day period will forfeit their deposits, as supplies are ordered 1-2 weeks in advance, and artists are scheduled as well. A canceled party costs us money, because another party could have been booked for that time slot, and 10 days notice is hard to book another party. In order to continue to bring affordable craft parties to everyone everywhere, we must adhere to this policy.
